With 60 hectares of vines planted on old and deep Günz, silica and sand gravel soils, the vineyard of Château Batailley boasts grape varieties typical of the Pauillac designation: merlot, cabernet sauvignon, cabernet franc and petit verdot.

Le Château Batailley, our Cinquième Grand Cru Classé designated as AOC Pauillac; Lions de Batailley, the Château’s second wine; and Pauillac de Batailley, the Château’s third wine, are all crisp, potent and sophisticated, brimming with spectacular aromas. Our second and third wines are made using the youngest vines in our vineyard.
